Mr. Gallagher practices in the areas of employment, personal injury, business and contract litigation. His clients are primarily individuals seeking to assert or protect their rights to employment. He served as Chairman of the Montgomery County Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Committee in both 2006 and 2007 In 2008, he served as Chairman of MBA's General Practice Committee.
In November 2008, he relocated his main office to Paoli and he has joined the Chester County Bar Association. At that same time, he contracted to utilize a number of offices located in locations such as Plymouth Meeting, King of Prussia, Exton, Radnor and Philadelphia. In February 2010, Mr. Gallagher changed the name of the Firm to the Gallagher Law Group, P.C., in recognition of the Firm's expanding practice areas and the contributions of his growing group of associate attorneys.
In the August 2009 edition of Main Line Today Magazine, he was recognized by his peers as a "Top Employment Lawyer. He enjoys a "Distinguished" rating from Martindale Hubbell, and a "Superb" (10.0 out of 10.0) assessment from lawyer rating service Avvo.
Mr. Gallagher is an experienced trial lawyer. This experience often enables him to develop strategies allowing clients to reach satisfactory resolutions to their problems without resort to costly and time-consuming litigation.

John resides in Willistown, Chester County. He has four children, Dylan, Amanda, Charles and Sam. Dylan and Amanda attend the University of Pittsburgh, and Charlie and Sam attend the Great Valley Middle School District. Recently, he became engaged to Katherine Lane, and they plan to marry in August 2010. Katherine has three children, daughters Danielle, Kalli and Olivia, all of whom attend Sugartown Elementary School in the Great Valley School District. He has coached many activities, including girls and boys basketball, soccer and softball/baseball.
